Where your support goes
The people who do the work — fair compensation for the Foundation’s freelancers and, as it grows, its staff. The Foundation is built to be run, not volunteered into existence.
Free public resources — the value-chain directory, open to all at no cost.
Working-group outputs — research coordination, cultivation and safety protocols, and the shared evidence base.
Representing the sector — participation in agriculture, materials, manufacturing, and policy forums, and advocacy for recognition, standards, and procurement. Where contributors represent the Foundation, their costs — and, where possible, their time — are covered.
Governance — reasonable, capped expenses for board members, within the limits that apply to a Dutch public-benefit foundation.

All contributions support the European Bamboo Foundation’s charitable, public-benefit activities. The Foundation is a Dutch stichting (KvK 82148589); it does not distribute profits.

How we account for it As a registered ANBI, the Foundation publishes its annual figures and policy plan, and summarises how funds were used in each quarterly briefing. Founding Stewards who sponsor a named initiative are listed alongside it on the public record.
